Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 April 2026
1. What LogFather is
LogFather is a web-based food safety record-keeping tool ("the Service") operated by Wrought Web ("we", "us"). It helps food businesses maintain digital HACCP records including temperature logs, cleaning schedules, checklists, and related compliance documents.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details and staff PINs secure. One account covers one business premises. If you operate multiple sites, each needs its own account.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
3. Free trial and billing
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment card is required to start. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription at the current rate (currently £24 per month). Payments are processed by Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
4. Your data
You own your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the records you create in LogFather. You can export your data at any time using the export feature in Admin.
If you cancel, your data remains accessible in read-only mode for 90 days, after which it may be permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.
See our privacy policy for details on how we handle your personal information.
5. What you agree not to do
- Share your account credentials with anyone outside your organisation
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service
6. The Service is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice
LogFather helps you maintain food safety records. It does not replace professional food safety advice, HACCP consultancy, or your own judgement as a food business operator. Compliance with food safety law remains your responsibility. We do not guarantee that using LogFather will result in passing an EHO inspection.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We provide support via email at support@logfather.uk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wrought Web is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
